We commit to practicing mindful acts of kindness until they become an organic part of who we are and how we behave.
Through this practice, we hope to show that carrying out Small Acts of Kindness is an easy way to make a big difference.
We hope to encourage others to adopt this practice, amplifying our kindness movement.
We’re not a business or a non-profit,
we’re just a group of individuals that want to bring more kindness to our community.

Identify an individual that you think would appreciate a Small Act of Kindness. This can be someone you know, or just someone you encounter.
Kindness can be used to express thanks/appreciation, can be given to help someone in need, or it can be a random act to brighten someones day.
Provide the Small Act of Kindness. This could be an action you take or a gift you give.
See below for examples of Small Acts of Kindness.
If you want to share ideas for ways to show/give kindness please do so on our Facebook page.
Give/leave a Kindness Card.
The main purpose of the card is to make someone smile by passing along messages like "Have a nice day", "You are valued", or "You make a difference".
The card also provides a way to learn more about the Small Acts of Kindness movement by including a link to this website.
Congratulations, someone took the time to make a difference in your life. If you want to pay-it-forward all you need to do is identify someone who you think could use a Small Act Kindness and give them the gift of kindness. If you want your own Kindness Cards to share, just let us know, we're happy to give you some!
We would love to hear about how you received or gave a Small Act of Kindness.
Our goal is to create a kindness movement, and to do that we need your help!
If you are interested in becoming a Small Acts of Kindness Ambassador, let us know and we will send you some Kindness Cards to get you started.
We all could use an extra hand around the house once in a while. If you have a neighbor who you think could use a little help offer to mow their lawn, shovel their driveway, or rake their yard.
Have a co-worker or friend you appreciate, needs some encouragement, or has been going through a difficult time? Leaving someone a plant or flower is a great way to show you're thinking of them.
We've all been that person who is in a hurry. Next time you see someone in the grocery store, at the take out counter, in line for the bathroom, or in the parking lot who seems like they just can't wait...let them go ahead of you. It won't change your day very much, but it may greatly change theirs.
No matter if you're a person in need or not, being treated to coffee, lunch, or really anything is special and can really brighten your day. You can treat someone you know, or even better, just randomly treat someone. You could even leave it to the cashier/waiter to decide by giving them some extra money and asking them to treat someone who looks like they could use it.
Cookies, brownies, cupcakes, bread, muffins, pies, cake, doughnuts...who doesn't like receiving a random sweat treat?! Just to give a few suggestions of who may like this act of kindness--mail carrier, teacher, neighbor, co-worker, friend, parent, partner, child...really anyone with taste buds.
Exceptional service is easy to recognize and is something to be acknowledged/rewarded, but it's also rare. Most service doesn't stand out, but going out of your way to say thanks or reward a server could make a big difference in their day...and who knows, it may result in the next person receiving exceptional service.
